What I offer
As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Anatomy and Cell Biology, I focus on the molecular mechanisms of rare diseases. Having completed a Double Degree PhD between Germany and Italy, and worked as a postdoc in Germany, Canada, and Austria, I can provide practical guidance on navigating international research environments. My goal is to support PhD students in managing daily laboratory challenges, structuring their projects, and balancing academic ambitions with a family.

Time constraints for meetings
Approximately monthly meetings of 90 minutes (at least 6 per semester). Time and place are variable, preferably in the morning at the Center for Anatomy and Cell Biology. 1:1 meetings per request.

I want to share my passion for research and a career at a university, because a research-oriented career path presents challenges but also great opportunities. I can contribute my experience from scientific research both within and outside the Medical University of Vienna, as well as my knowledge of the challenges of balancing family and career in an international environment. My goal for this program is to share my experience, support you with your current research challenges, and help you shape your individual career path.
