This seminar will reflect on the factors that are decisive for successful support of PhD students with regard to psychosocial aspects. Following on from this, proven ways of dealing professionally with potential difficulties in the course of the care process are given. For this purpose, impulses for the development of a person- and task-oriented understanding of leadership and counseling will be given through the compact presentation of proven models, theories and approaches, which will be deepened through experience-oriented exercises.
Learning Objectives
- Development of an understanding of leadership in line with the mission ("lateral leadership") and a matching understanding of consulting ("process consulting")
- Gain knowledge of helpful models with regard to "leadership" and "motivation"
- Identifying factors of effective consulting that are crucial for success
- Getting to know professional counseling techniques and methods for successfully overcoming typical difficulties in the support process
