What else I would like to say
I studied psychology at the University of Vienna and then moved to the Department for Child and Adolescents Psychiatry at the Medical University of Vienna in 2015 where I completed the N790 doctorial program (mental health & behavioral medicine) which I finished in 2020. I currently hold a post-doc research position and received a tenure-track position ("Interne Karrierevereinbarung (IKV") in 2023. In 2023, I received my first grant as a PI (WWTF project on developing a serious game promoting mental health literacy in children and adolescents). My main focus of research is anorexia nervosa (epidemiology, risk factors, therapeutic interventions, parrent support, gut-brain-axis, psychopharmocological treatment), but I am also engaged in other projects at the child and adolescent psychiatry department. Recently, I submitted my habilitation. During the previous ~ 10 years at the Medical University of Vienna, I gained inisght into the internal processes (thanks to more experiences colleagues!) and frequent challenges of PhD students (including myself!) and got involved in several scientific communities (e.g., Austrian Society for Eating Disorders, Austrian Society for Public Health, Austrian Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry).
A quick summary of my private life: I'm married since 9 years, I love being in nature and I like hamsters (not for research purposes!)
