What I offer
I offer deeper insights into the modern world of research at two locations. The Center for Medical Physics has numerous laboratories equipped with all the devices and implants needed for patient care and research. At the University of Applied Sciences Technikum, the automated production and handling of delicate and personalized parts is investigated and improved. While there are no patients on site, there are many medical devices developed for clinical practice. The laboratories are open for visits, and diploma theses are always welcome. However, I am unable to offer clinical internships.
What I expect from the students
A touch of curiosity, reliability, and a sense of humor. ;-)
Time constraints for meetings
There will be one meeting per month (10 in one academic year), lasting 1-2 hours.
The exact times and dates are subject to prior agreement. The first meeting will be scheduled via Termino, and subsequent meeting dates will be agreed upon at the end of each session.
What else I would like to say
My focus in mentoring is on supporting and guiding my mentees in their studies and organization. I am also happy to share my own research with them and provide insight into life and work in medical research.
