What else I would like to say
About me
I am trained in biomedicine and biotechnology and came to the University Dental Clinic in Vienna as part of my master's thesis. Afterwards, I completed my doctoral studies at the Medical University of Vienna and received a lecturer qualification ("Habilitation") in cell biology. Currently, I am in the middle of an internal career agreement with a focus on teaching.
My research focuses on elucidating the pathophysiological mechanisms of oral pathologies, covering different oral diseases, biological rhythms, 3D cell culture models and digital dentistry. If you want to have a closer look on my ongoing research projects, please click here: https://www.meduniwien.ac.at/researcher/klara_janjic
My teaching activities are broadly spread across the dentistry and human medicine curricula. Additionally, I am lecturing in different master programs of the Medical University of Vienna and the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences. Currently, I am supervising numerous diploma theses, a master thesis and three doctoral students with a clinical background.
I look forward to share my knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for research and teaching with you in our mentoring sessions!
